We organise our work around three key areas

  • Teaching (including professional development) and Post Graduate Research Supervision
  • Work in the Public Interest

We conduct research around the major areas of:

  • Public policy
  • Economic development
  • Community investment and development
  • Social development
  • Governance and local government
  • Aucklands regional development
  • Pacific studies

Our staff come from varying disciplines and are committed to multidisciplinary, team-based and user-lead approaches to research and development.

This approach sees us partnering and collaborating across the university and with practitioners, professionals and academics from a wide array of organisations outside of the university.
